Diversity Certification For Small Business
November 13, 2019 @ 9:00 am - 10:30 am
A diverse business is defined multiple ways. Whether your business is owned by minorities, women, LGBTQ identifying individuals, or veterans, or a majority of your employees identify with one of those identities, you may be eligible to obtain a diversity classification for your business based on one of those classifications. Join Jasmin Hurley, Associate at Porter Wright Morris & Arthur, as she walks through the various classifications available to businesses. With this knowledge, your business will be able to tap into new resources and funding dedicated to enhancing your business’ prosperity.
This event would be ideal for any small business that would like to learn:
What certifications are available to a business
How to become diversity certified
What the benefits are tied to having a diversity certification (i.e. being able to receive projects from larger companies or funds from organizations seeking to support diversity certified businesses.)
Speaker: Jasmin Hurley, Associate at Porter Wright Morris & Arthur
